Minumina is an audiovisual performance of an original electronic music composition of the same name. Using Max/MSP/Jitter and Ableton Live I mapped graphical elements and some of their properties to certain frequencies of the sounds and also performed the song live. The visual elements were created in openGL using a .tiff image that was being recreated. The piece is an exploration in minimalist music techniques such as repetition, build-up and rhythmic phasing in sound and in openGL generated graphics.
